Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today launched his latest book, "Driving Transformation" published by Malaysian National Institute of Translation (ITNM).
According to ITNM's statement, the first four chapters of the book revolved around the prime minister's vision and his approaches in uplifting the status Malaysians, especially the Malays by creating political mechanism as a tool to foster unity.
"The rest of the chapters explain in detail the importance of other mechanisms adopted by Najib-led government in a bid to ensure national unity and stability by striking a balance between socio-economy and politics," the statement said.
The 158-page book, written in both Malay and English languages, also touched on the process of sustaining the continuity of Umno leadership in the national political arena.
The book can be purchased at major bookstores nationwide at a price of RM32 in the peninsula and RM37 in Sabah and Sarawak.
A 30 per cent discount, however, will be given to visitors who purchase the book at ITNM booth at Level 4 of Putra World Trade Centre during the 2011 Umno General Assembly. -- BERNAMA
