KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak took part in a book reading session organised by the National Institute of Translation Malaysia in conjunction with Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair.
He read out a portion of Chapter five of the book he wrote, Helming the Times, which stresses the power of the mind in determining the success of an organisation, race or country.
He said a strong mind allowed a person to analyse as well as reason and observe problems in an intellectual, rational and strategic way.
The book, launched in October last year, is published in Malay and English.
Some 100 visitors who bought the book also took part in the book reading along with the Prime Minister at Dewan Tun Razak 3, Putra World Trade Centre.
Najib later spent about 30 minutes visiting booths at the book fair that ended yesterday. — Bernama
